| Duvan L. Brock, MBA, CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®, CRPC®, CMFC
Duvan L. Brock is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) practitioner with over thirty years experience in the financial services industry. Duvan is President and founder of Duvan Brock Financial Services, LLC., a financial planning firm located in Calhoun, Georgia.
Duvan graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and English. He then went on to complete the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification in 1995. While always looking to gain greater knowledge of the financial planning industry, Duvan also attended The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania to earn the coveted Chartered Financial Consultant Designation (ChFC) in 2001 and the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 2016. In addition, Duvan has furthered his education by attending the College of Financial Planning located in Denver, Colorado to attain the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) and the Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC) designations. Duvan is one of those people who loves to learn, therefore at the age of fifty (50) he started to further his educational experience by earning a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) specializing in Finance from Louisiana State University - Shreveport in 2017.
Duvan acts on his strong belief of giving back to the community by donating significant amounts of time and expertise to local and national non-profit charities including:
- Elder at Calhoun Church of Christ
- Past Vice Chairman of Churches of Christ for Scouting, Inc. (National Scouting Organization)
- Advisory Board Member to the College of Commerce and Business - Jacksonville State University
Duvan is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the Society of Financial Service Professionals and also the Cherokee Area Estate Planning Council of Northwest Georgia. Duvan has also served as a retirement planning specialist for USA Today newspaper. Duvan and his wife Dawn have been married since 1987. They reside in Calhoun, Georgia and have two children - Alexandria and Dillon. Duvan and Dawn also have three grandchildren - Raelyn, Brock, and Walker. Duvan's hobbies are traveling, many outdoor sports, history, and reading.

| Dawn Y. Brock, Income Tax Specialist
Dawn has served as an Income Tax Specialist since attending Jacksonville State University where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance while graduating with highest honors in 1986. After graduation, Dawn worked as an associate income tax specialist with a CPA firm in Lafayette, Georgia. In 1989, Dawn seized the opportunity to start her own accounting and tax services firm in Calhoun, Georgia working with corporations, individuals and non-profit charity clients across the eastern part of the United States.
Dawn serves in an “unofficial” capacity to Duvan when he needs to consult an accountant on tax matters for his clients. Since Dawn manages her own tax and accounting firm, she shares many of the same clients with her husband, Duvan. Over the years Dawn has realized one of her greatest joys remains in helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Dawn and Duvan were married in 1987. Together they have two children – Alexandria and Dillon – and three grandchildren - Raelyn, Brock, and Walker. Dawn spends most of her time when she's away from the office with her children, grandchildren, and husband. Additionally, Dawn also stays involved in several community service organizations where she serves as tax and accounting advisor. Dawn serves as a Bible School teacher at Calhoun Church of Christ where she and her family worship. Along with her volunteer work in the community, Dawn’s hobbies include quilting, travel and reading.

| Dillon T. L. Brock, MS-Finance
Dillon Brock joined the practice as a financial advisor in
2017. Dillon graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2017 with a
bachelor’s degree in Finance. Dillon then completed his Master
of Science in Finance at The University of Alabama in 2019. While always
looking to gain greater knowledge of the financial planning industry, Dillon is
currently studying for the
Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification.
Dillon resides in Calhoun, Georgia. He is the son of Duvan and
Dawn Brock. Dillon’s hobbies are traveling, skiing, sports, and hunting.
